IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The present circumstances are very difficult for us all and we understand that schools have much to consider over the coming weeks.  We do hope that as schools open in September many of the restrictions will be eased and some sense of normality will prevail.

Whilst we may not be able to perform our shows in their usual format immediately, we hope to offer some flexible options which schools will be comfortable with.

We know that a high priority, in the first term at least, will be settling the children back and reassuring them, and therefore we will be offering a focused show containing elements from our wellbeing, mental health and aspirations shows to help you in this aim.

Our regular customers know that a Pop Project visit can help enormously with morale, spirit and wellbeing for both the children and the staff and we hope you will consider us in your plans for the new school year.

Please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss your requirements and we look forward to seeing you all soon.

FORMAT SUGGESTION

If, as the latest guidelines suggest, you need to operate in class or year group "bubbles" the format we would offer would be :

1 hour session for 2 KS2 year groups, distanced appropriately in the Hall - 9.10 - 10.10

1 hour session for the other 2 KS2 year groups - 10.20 - 11.20

35 minute session for Reception and Nursery (if applicable) distanced appropriately in the Hall - 1.30 - 2.05

45 minute session for Y1 and Y2 - 2.15 - 3.00

Precise arrangements would be up to you.

We are offering this whole day experience for the same price as our usual half day sessions - £325.
(We, like you, are desperate to resume working normally as soon as possible!)

FURTHER DETAILS

The special show we are offering contains the important sections of our successful "I feel good", "Reach for the stars and "Walking on sunshine" shows.  We will be emphasising good physical health including obviously the continued need for hand washing, social awareness, etc. The importance of feeling safe and happy and promoting good mental heath is the prime focus.  And we will be looking positively to the future with a huge thank you to all our community heroes.

We will not have the any of the dressing up activities but will still encourage plenty of pupil participation in singing and dancing.

Songs will include "I feel good", "Walking on sunshine", "Reach for the stars" plus other favourites with positive messages.

We will adhere to all the new regulations you will have in place and we will go off site when not performing.

If you need to cancel, even at the last minute, due to issues arising, we accept there will be no commitment to payment.

We hope we can support you in restoring some balance and normality to your children's and staff's lives.

What schools say about The Pop Project :

"We just wanted to say thank you so much for the fantastic Beatles workshop!  It all went so well and everybody loved it!  It certainly fitted in really well with our topic for the new History curriculum and we will definitely recommend you!"

Holy Name Primary, Liverpool

"Just wanted to say how fantastic you all were this morning. The children had a brilliant time, as did the staff! The dancing and singing was excellent fun. Thank you very much!"

Parkroyal Primary, Macclesfield

"... a huge thank you for coming to us. Not only did we all learn a lot but everyone throughly enjoyed themselves during the performance. The effort that you put into setting up the background area, the differentiation in performances for the different age ranges and the interaction that you created with your audience made for a very special morning for the children. The children (and staff) couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed it which created a brilliant start to our activities in school. We will without doubt be booking you again in the future!…"

Garrett Hall Primary, Wigan

"Thank you very much for such a wonderful morning of, history, ICT, music, design and technology, reading and everything else that was in there; it was jam packed. The children really enjoyed and I will be recommending you to other colleagues."

St Elphin's Primary, Warrington

"As always, we had a ball! All the children really enjoyed the shows and learned loads!  The staff were 'uplifted' - which was my plan as it was Parent's Night so they needed a boost!"

Headteacher - St Aidan's Primary, Manchester

"Just wanted to say thanks once again! Least amount of work I have ever done to get so much praise!"

Teacher who made the booking !! - Hamer Primary School, Rochdale

“ ... a great original idea ... the children loved the show and learned a lot”

Thingwall Primary School, Wirral

"Every single child was engaged ... incredible value for money ... we'll be booking you again!"

Worsley Mesnes Primary School, Wigan

"It was such a fun experience for everyone and they learned such a lot - the time just flew by!  They are still singing the songs around school.  It was the perfect way to round off our topic of Popular Culture"
